Who We Are – Treck To Morocco
Beginnings in the Sahara
When the Sahara Desert of Morocco — particularly the golden Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga — began attracting travelers from around the world, a humble Berber farmer and father of two decided to purchase a 4×4 vehicle with his friends. As a result, he could finally welcome visitors and show them the most beautiful places in the desert he proudly called home. From that moment, the foundations of what would become Treck To Morocco were quietly being laid.
Growing Up with Tourism
Over time, great things developed from modest beginnings. While his children were growing up, they worked in local desert camps and hotels, where they not only gained hospitality experience but also learned their first words of English, Spanish, and French from international travelers. At that time, most tour companies in Morocco were foreign-owned. Therefore, the two brothers felt inspired to create a local, family-run operator that could share genuine Moroccan culture and traditions.
Learning and Overcoming Challenges
However, they soon realized their English skills were not strong enough to achieve their vision. Because of this, they decided to study intensively and learn from every interaction. Eventually, after years of commitment and hard work, they became fluent in English and ready to share their Berber heritage with the world. Consequently, Treck To Morocco was officially born from that enduring dream.
